Dallan (18 year old brother, upon walking into our kitchen) : Whoa, did you guys get new flooring?!
Me: Actually, no. I happened to have swept and mopped right before you got here.
Dallan: Oh, well... it looks good.

This happened a few months ago and I'd LIKE to think that I've been doing a better job of keeping the floor clean. But holy guacamole it's a never ending job! Sometimes I'd like to have a dog come clean up all the scraps.
Which would I rather clean up- Dog droppings or Food droppings. Definitely the food on the floor!
Dog droppings...because maybe Ben would do it???? The only reason that Rocky stuck around was because he picks up any mess on the floor...I never sweep/ or wash up the kids' faces (just kidding)...but really...sometimes Rocky is a better helper than the husband :)
