Balance

Wow, a whole month since I've posted. A few reasons

1. Camera is broke and I always like to have pictures in a post.

2. I've been spending time doing other things. Such as? Hum. Let's see. Uh. Being outside for starters! And also, actually tending to my household chores. It's nice having a clean place to wake-up to.

3. I've been taking a break from my whole couponing/deal-finding adventures online. No great deals lately and plus I'm gearing up for yard sale season! I just have a few things I'd like to find at great prices this summer. In case you were wondering what I'm looking for... 3-wheeled scooter for David, tricycle for Lucy, clothes for Lucy, and a towel rack for the kid's hooded towels.

4. I'm searching for balance. Who isn't, right?! I came across this talk by Elder Ballard (Whom I adore! I think his talks are always meant just for me!) Pause. Problem encountered! My copy and paste isn't working. Urgh. Inhale. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Exhale. I was going to outline the talk and set up a link to it and everything. Darn. Well, the name of the talk is Keeping Life's Demands in Balance. May 1987 Ensign. M. Russel Ballard. Happy reading to anyone who decides to look it up and read it. I doubt anyone actually will, but I hope that I can at least inspire one person to read it. It has inspired me to realize I don't have to do it all. I just have to do what's most important. It's my job to decide what's worth my time and set out to do the things the Lord would have me do. Elder Ballard offers practical advice on how to do this. I am grateful I came across this and read it!

  1. Just read that talk-so glad you posted about it! It is exactly what I needed to hear. Been having problems with "balance" in my life and am wanting to make some changes. Thanks for reccomending it!
