In somewhat of a suspenseful order (good-totally awesome). No cheating and reading the last ones first!
Top 10 things that happened on my break:

10. Movie recommendation: A Good Year
I've been wanting a break from the drama and action flicks we usually see. This was not too sappy and Ben and I both enjoyed it!
9. Shopping at Costco and stocking up for the next 6 months of everything that I thought would make my life easier when baby comes!
(Secret revealed: I've already started using them...)

8. Picking out an awesome present for Ben (from Brad, I think. He might be sending $$)... for the 'sibling' gift exchange.
We played Killer Bunnies all night AND at breakfast. Now I am taking a break until I can play with Dallan again! He is seriously so fun to play this game with!
7. Best Birthday Present- Watching Ben and his dad duke it out! Ben claims that he wasn't doing that great cause he was distracted by all the laughing. Watching this match was on the top of my b-day list- right after the two new tires for the car. Don't tell him, but Ben is getting the other two for HIS birthday!
We tricked Ben's family into thinking we were really going bowling for my birthday. His sister even brought her own bowling shoes!
6. Watching David play with his new toys
5. The look on Jared's face when he opened the gift I brought to the Osborn family gift exchange. Sorry, this memory only lives on in the hearts of those who were there!
4. Waking up New Year's Day to my dad wearing a necklace that said "Marvin".
3. Not looking too incredibly fat in the family Christmas picture. Not too bad for 36 weeks, eh?
2. Having a wonderful Anniversary (3 years baby!). I'm looking forward to 3 more wonderful years :)
1. Paying for car rentals and plane tickets to Omaha, Nebraska and Glendale, Arizona!

Wow Celeste, I waited so long for that blog posting, and let me just say, it was totally worth it. Don't know what the heck Killer Bunnies is, but looks quite interesting....LOL. And I LOVED the video of Ben and his dad duking it out! Ben's dad has some impressive moves! Ben should just be glad it wasn't in real life, LOL. I've wanted to see videos of that new Wii, so I'm glad you came through. And WHY the HECK was dad wearing a Marvin necklace, or should I ask?!? Anyway, LOVED the update, you have a wonderful way of recapping the goods. Oh, and congrats once again on the interviews, you know I have my fingers crossed for Arizona, a mere 404.89 miles from me, that's right: 6 hours, 2 minutes (Although I don't think mapquest figured in the 3 kids.... unfortunately).
ReplyDeleteOnly three more?! Seems a bit harsh and even rash but oh well, I guess looking forward to three more years is all you can hope for right Ben? Just hope after the next three she'll agree to a contract extension, I'm rooting for ya. P.S Sweet J (McCoy) is attending Midwestern for Med School so yeah...two birds with one stone; or as we like to say in the Bulgarian it'sa one bullet, two rabbits. :) All the best.
ReplyDeleteYou are looking incredibly good Cbaby! And congrats on the interviews. I vote for AZ too, Denton is down there for school and they both really like it!
ReplyDeleteLOL, loved the comment Brad...I had thought the same thing, but was willing to overlook it...LOL. I as well hope that Ben gets the contract extension....lol.
ReplyDeleteExplanation:
ReplyDeleteIn "License to Wed" a couple is celebrating their 30th anniversary. The husband says he looks forward to 30 more wonderful years, so using the same math/logic I was joking with Ben about doubling the amount of time we've been married :). He said it was fine as long as we double again at the end of those three years, then again at 6 and 12 and so forth
yeah...it's a joke Celeste...that's the part where you laugh and don't explain yourself...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the interviews!! That is really really exciting. We are happy for you. Good luck. We can't wait to hear where you end up!
ReplyDeleteBrad- LOL
ReplyDeleteIs that better?
Saw Ben in the temple and said hello but I needed to get in the session. I asked Bethany if she saw you but she said that she didn't. Maybe next time. Chat with you later.
ReplyDeleteWere you in Glendale with your hubby? That would be awesome if you moved to AZ. We only live 3 hours from there.
ReplyDeletehow exciting! looks like you had a fun christmas. by the way you look so cute pregnant.
