21 days and counting... ok 7, but I'm not getting my hopes up

7 days to 'due date'
14 days to when David was born according to his 'due date'
21 days til the anticipated day of arrival for this little one

I'm shooting for these days in February to have this baby:
1, 2, 5, and 9.
Feb is the month of birthdays between our two families (especially the first 8 days) . The days I picked out are still open if the baby wants a day to itself. I'm not going past the 9th because that is 14 days past my 'due date'. I don't like 'due dates' anymore. Next time someone asks when this baby is due I'm going to say March 1st. ..

Yes, my due date is Jan. 26th, but I'm giving up on January. I'm setting my sights for February now. I should have continued with what I started in the beginning- I was telling everyone my due date was 'early February' because people don't really know the difference between 'late January' and 'early February'. They only listen enough to hear JANUARY or FEBRUARY. So all of January they are saying- "oh, I thought you were having this baby any day. Aren't you due this month?" Yes, but not til the 26th, but thanks for listening to me.

On the brighter side of things, we still don't have any tangible, viable or legitimate proof that this is a girl. BUT,
the baby's half of the closet is stocked with dresses
the baby's half of the dresser is full of pink, purple, and frilly things
the baby's diapers are decorated with little flowers and butterflies... ok that isn't true.

I did pull out the smallest boy outfit and my favorite little blue blankie to take to the hospital JUST IN CASE it is a boy. I can see him up in heaven going- Mom, put the dress down! Go for the Puma warm-ups! Sorry son, but grandmas and local aunts are going to be hittin the stores once you get here! And there are the remains of what I saved from your big brother!

Thank you for listening to me whine. I'm taking a new approach from this moment on- carry a calendar with me and people can place bets on when it will actually come. It will take the pressure off me and on to them. OR, I'll just tell them I'm due March 1st. I like that idea. No, I'm going to try to come up with a new come back every time.

When are you due?
1. Due for what? I'm not pregnant. I just carry my weight in the front.
2. Well, I usually do my annual breast exam/pap smear on my birthday so the date is easy to remember. When do you do yours?
3. January 26th, when are you due?
4. Congratulations! You are the 100th person to ask me that TODAY!

I think I might be done now. Here are the results from some online gender predictor quizzes:

Boy/Girl: 3 sets of questions, 20/80, 10/90, 20/80 www.amazingpregnancy.com

50% Boy: isn't that 50% Girl too? www.justmommies.com

Boy: Chinese Calendar www.chinesefortunecalendar.com

Girl: Ben's fatherly intuition

And what I do I think!? Girl. If not this time, there is one coming our way sometime!

Please comment with YOUR guess!
Date, gender, size, time of day, ANYTHING!!
vbac or cesarean?
How much longer til I just say- cut this baby out now!
who knows what's going to be going on
here for the next 21 days!?

  3. Love it! It would be great to have the baby on the 26th-that's my birthday. I think it's a girl and you'll have HER on the 3 of February.

  4. Well, I am guessing SHE comes on February 7th, and that you name her Angela after her birthday buddy....LOL, okay you don't have to name her Angela, but I am voting for the 7th. I've never had a birthday buddy. I know a million (okay 3) people with February 8th as a bday, but no one else with Feb 7th (except maybe Garth Brooks, but he doesn't count). And I don't want you to go until the 13th to give Aubrielle a bday buddy, or have ANOTHER one on the 6th and leave me as the ONLY Wagner not in the "6 club," so the 7th it is! Oh, and if she is born on the 7th, she's going to be a tank, just like me, and weigh over 10 lbs....so get ready sis cause HERE SHE COMES!!! And you could give her a middle name of "Anne" as in "An"gela (plus then you could tell everyone you named her after them...Mir"An"da, Emily Jo"Anne", Grandma Jo"Anne"....you get the idea :^)
