This is why I love Rite-Aid and my husband...

Someday I'll make a blog devoted to my obsession with cheapness. Until then, you are going to have to put up with me...

Since I view this whole saving money thing as my contribution to the family finances I told Ben on Thanksgiving morning, "Oh, Ben an opportunity for me to make money has come up!". He was like, "Oh, really? What ever do you mean?".

"Well, we just need to stop at Rite-Aid on the way to your parents and I'll be able to make a few bucks!"

"And what are you going to buy?". (He's good about making sure I don't buy too much stuff we don't really need)

"Oh, just some chocolate, ear-buds, razors..."

He interrupted, "What kind of ear-buds? I actually need some."

And this moment ladies and gentlemen I believe I finally convinced him that my obsession with finding deals and making money while doing it was really worth it. I was finally buying something he needed.

When we were in the store trying to find all the stuff on my list and the kids were running crazy around grabbing products and he was being ever so patient with them and I was ignoring them cause since Ben was there I figured it was his turn to see what it was like .... wait, where was I going with this? Anyway, let's just say I was the only man standing when it came time to check out and Ben had retreated to the car with the kids.

Back to the story, I just wanted to end by saying that finding these deals, organizing the coupons, and taking the time to go to the store, submit the rebates and all of that takes up my time. So I'm glad when Ben gets into it to. I feel like it has not been in vain.

Now I must go help the fighting children I've been ignoring while I've been writing this! BYE!
