What a day!!
I went to get David out of his crib. I greeted him with "Happy Birthday! Today is your birthday!" He rolled over and with all the effort of a just woken up voice he replied simply, "cake". I suggested panCAKES. He complied. He's been looking forward to the day of cake since we started talking about his birthday a few weeks ago. I think it all goes back to Oct. 21st when we celebrated my dad's b-day. Ever since then- he's known-on your birthday you get to eat cake!

He actually didn't eat very much of his cake, but he had a great time putting the candles in his piece. He was sad that they weren't candy and kept trying to eat them.

Celeste! How fun to see you and your cute family on blogspot--and I am so excited for you and your new little bundle of joy--although right now it probably feels more than a bundle--like a ton! I know all pregnant gals can relate! Well, just wanted to say hi and good luck to Ben and the dental schools. All those places sound really exciting...but how do you really feel about leaving Spocompton??? :)
